HL Adventure is a full-service DMC and authorized tour operator based in Iceland. Founded in 2000 by Jón Ólafur and his wife Jóhanna, the pair brings the perfect mix of rugged nature and an eye for detail and luxury to all client programs. Over the years, the dynamic duo has added a strong team of professionals, working one-on-one with clients to create tailor-made solutions for meetings, events, and incentives in Iceland and Greenland.

President of Global DMC Partners, Catherine Chaulet, states, “Over the past couple years, we’ve seen Iceland grow immensely in popularity for both individual travelers and for groups due to its wide variety of amazing hotels and year-round activities, coupled with its accessibility. Flights to Reykjavik are both inexpensive and available from nearly 90 cities around the world, including many major North American and European cities.  We’ve worked with HL Adventure for many years now and were eager to officially solidify this partnership to make sure we had a perfect solution in Iceland for our clients.”

Endless creativity, energy, passion, and an unbeatable level of customer service is what all of our clients can expect when working with their team.”

HL Adventure’s Manager of their MICE department, Berglind Magnúsdóttir, adds, “We are eager to dive into an official partnership and show Global DMC Partners’ clients how Iceland’s infrastructure to support meetings and incentives has grown leaps and bounds over the last years. We have always been enthusiastic about the adventure part of our offering, so we are thrilled about the stunning hotels we can now offer, the quality of service from our suppliers, and the local cuisine that is simply out of this world. It´s all about giving attendees that fun story to tell when they come back home, and we are excited to deliver the most amazing programs with GDP.”
