Global DMC Partners, the largest global network of independent destination management companies (DMCs) and specialized event service providers, recently held its ninth annual Connection event, considered one of the most educational and exclusive conferences on the industry’s calendar. Meeting planners and DMC partners gathered from May 18-21 at the Atlantis Palm Dubai to discuss the latest in the meetings, events and travel industry. During a special ceremony, five DMCs were recognized for their leadership and innovation.
“We were so happy to be able to honor our valued partners during our signature annual event,” said Global DMC Partners President and CEO Catherine Chaulet. “We are highly selective when accepting members into our network and we know that they perform at very high levels, so it is important to us to be able to recognize their outstanding efforts and achievements, particularly this past year as we saw our industry rebound and grow like never before.”
