Greece's latest MICE offerings include an "undiscovered" paradise and eco-friendly exploration in Athens

PARADISE FOUND AT HYRDA ISLAND

Just an hour trip from Piraeus port, the captivating island of Hydra is waiting for the ones that fall in love with fine architecture, peacefulness and pebbly beaches. Keep in mind that there are no cars in Hydra. There are only donkeys, bicycles and water taxis, making it a truly unique experience. From the 1950's, Hydra has been known as one of the most important cultural centers, attracting famous personas of arts and literature from Greece and abroad. This has rendered Hydra as a center of artistic creation.

On your group's trip to Hydra you can attend a Drama Workshop at the foot of a Mycaenean settlement or learn to dance the famous Syrtaki in a lovely outdoor theater and live like a Greek! If you feel like exploring the island, you can take the coastal or the inland road riding a horse and enjoy the amazing view of the monastery.

For the adventure seekers, the guided dives are certainly your thing. The crystal clean waters of Hydra and the rich underwater world will offer you an exciting experience full of colors and images to remember.

A TWIST ON AN ECO-FRIENDLY WAY TO DISCOVER ATHENS

Athens is receiving a growing interest towards eco solutions and zero-waste mentality. The most fun way to discover Athens and see the city is by using trikkes. Trikkes offer the flexibility to create your personalized, tailor-made itinerary and allow your attendees to enjoy Athens in an exclusive way!

Our Athens-based DMC can elevate your group's Athenian exploration on Trikkes by mixing in authenic Greek experiences. Starting from the Temple of Olympian Zeus, your group can pass the streets in Plaka, Acropolis and Thiseio, while stopping by excluive, interactive stations in between!

Our DMC partner can plan a stop for guests to grab a koulouri (the Greek pretzel), set up a shopping station so guests can try and buy authentic Greek products and herbs, or they can even stage a street musician so attendees can listen to him playing the Laterna instrument and get a taste of the Greek 50’s era.
