New Museum in the Center of Athens, Greece

In the heart of Athens and a few minutes away from Kallimarmaro Stadium, the Basil & Elise Goulandris Foundation is the hottest spot in Athens right now!

In the 7,250 sq mtr (78,038 sq ft) space -- which consists of 11 floors, five of which are below ground -- the new museum will host temporary exhibitions of Greek and foreign artists.

There is a café-restaurant and garden on the mezzanine floor, both offering a capacity of 50 seated people or 100 standing people for a cocktail event. If the weather is good, the two areas can be united adding up to 100 people seated or 200 people standing.

On the third floor, you can find the terrace offering a stunning view to Lycabettus Hill and the Parthenon, with a capacity of 50 people for a seated dinner, 100 people in theatrical style, or 150 people for a standing reception.

The museum lobby on the ground floor can host an astonishing cocktail party with a capacity of 400 standing, as well as a state-of-the-art, 190-seat amphitheater with its own foyer, which can host multiple events including lectures, conferences, screenings, performances, concerts and other artistic and scientific activities.

Last but not least, the art exhibits are below ground in a room that can host 272 people theatrical style, 150 people for a seated dinner, 84 people in U-shape, or 350 people for a standing reception. If you are looking for an industrial, minimal, modern venue -- look no further than the Basil & Elise Goulandris Foundation!
