Hybrid Events - Wondering Where to Start?

What is a hybrid event?

A conference, meeting, tradeshow, seminar, workshop or other type of event that combines a "live" in-person event with a "virtual" online component.

For example:

A live, 1,000 person conference that brings together attendees from over 20 cities to one destination is reformatting to a hybrid event. The conference organizers split the attendees into smaller groups in each city location so that attendees do not have to travel. Each group will watch a live or streamed recording of the event from a centralized location in their home city.

The role of Global DMC Partners:

Your GDP Sales Advisor will coordinate with the vetted DMC in each city who will help you secure the ideal venue and the best local event vendors. And more importantly, GDP DMCs will ensure that all local venues and suppliers will adhere to the highest health, safety, and sanitation requirements. Your team will not have to travel to any locations as the DMCs will be your feet on the ground at each site.
