Global DMC Partners' Song Slam event took place at the famous Metropolis Studios in Chiswick, West London on February 25, 2016 in partnership with SongDivision. Agencies including Crown, Wildgoose, Capita, AYMTM, Green & Pleasant, Lime Blue Solutions, Primary Live and Powwow were represented, as well as BMW Group Financial Services. Attendees were split into four groups, led by international DMC Partners from Peru (Condor Travel), Switzerland (Conventus SA Switerland), Greece (Horizon Travel), and Austin, TX (Red Velvet Events). 

Each group was tasked with writing and rehearsing a song about its designated destination, with the help from SongDivision band members. At the end, the groups came together in the main studio to perform their songs at a 'live jam', before the winner was decided. The Song Slam 2016 title went to the group, Keep Austin Weird, with their country and western-style hit "Y'all".
