  • Turkish Airlines offers direct flights to 275 destinations including cities in the United States such as Boston, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, San Francisco and Washington, DC.
  • Istanbul Park Circuit will start hosting Formula 1 races and World Rally Cross Championship in 2016.
  • In Kusadasi, Izmir, a new congress center has opened with an auditorium capacity of 2,000 guests; only a 15 minute-drive from world famous Ephesus.
  • The construction of the third airport in Istanbul with a capacity of 120 million passengers a year has started.
  • With the completion of the suspense bridge over Marmara Sea in 2016, the drive from Istanbul to Izmir drive will decrease from 8 hours to 3.5 hours.
