GDP: Why did you decide to join the DMC industry?  Did you start your career in a different industry, or have you been in this industry since day one?
TM: I've worked in the travel industry for 30 years, and it was a natural next step, especially when the MICE sector started in Poland 15 years ago. I was one of the first ones on board in this industry.
 
GDP: What is your favorite part of your job and why?
TM: Planning, meeting new challenges. and suggesting new opportunities in Poland.
 
GDP: If you could change one thing about your job or this industry, what would it be and why?
TM: I would suggest to slow down from time to time, as speed does not match quality all the time.
 
GDP: When you're not working, how do you spend your free time or what are your hobbies?
TM: Jogging, hiking in the mountains, drama theater, classical music, reading
 
GDP: Where is the most interesting place you have traveled to?
TM: Many, but if I must choose one - I'd say Mount Everest seen from the Tibetan side. One of my dreams is to see Antarctica during their summer in December, when the sun is over the horizon all the time.
 
GDP: What is the best meal you've ever eaten and where was it from? 
TM: I have to pick two - horseradish soup at Pod Roza hotel in Krakow, Poland and oryx steak at Wolvedans Boulders Camp in Namibia
